Independent student memberships are available to students enrolled at the two schools listed above without active student chapters. This membership is determined on an individual basis. To become an Independent Student Member, sign up here.

Student Advancement to Allied Membership
ASID student members have the option of advancing to allied membership following graduation. Student members have one year after graduation to complete the advancement process. In the first year, former student members will receive significant discounts off of the regular membership rate. The advancement discounts are one of the biggest benefits of student membership.  Download the Advancement Application.

Special Student Events

Throughout the calendar year, Oregon Chapter ASID sponsors various events specifically for our student members. These include:

Volunteer Day
Student Career Day
Graduation Party
Industry Partner Picnic

There are also numerous opportunities to participate in chapter events open to the entire membership. All planned events including the four listed above are published on our Event Calendar Page.

Because of the growing complexity of today’s interior environments and technologies, completing a degree is becoming increasingly more important to the interior design profession.
